Terms
Last updated October 7, 2026
These are the terms for using a website made by Web Friend. They are short because the deal is simple. Web Friend is in Los Angeles, California. Questions: hello@webfriend.co, or text or call (323) 379-5251.
Your website is free for 7 days. After that it is $29 a month to keep it online. Cancel anytime. No contract, no setup fee, no fine print beyond this page.
What Web Friend does
We build a one page website for your business from your public Google listing and put it online at an address like yourbusiness.webfriend.co. We host it, keep it running, and make changes when you ask. When you keep the website, we are a real person one text or email away.
Who can claim a website
Only the owner of the business, or someone the owner has asked to act for them, may claim or pay for its website. If you see a website we made for a business that is not yours, tell us and we take it down. If a website was made for your business and you do not want it, tell us and we take it down.
The free week and the price
- Your website is online and free for 7 days from the day it is built.
- After 7 days it goes offline unless you keep it. Keeping it costs $29 a month, charged to your card each month until you cancel.
- If we ever change the price, we email you at least 30 days before it changes. You can cancel before it does.
Paying and cancelling
- Payments are by card, through Stripe. Your receipt comes from Stripe and says Web Friend.
- Cancel anytime: email hello@webfriend.co, text (323) 379-5251, or use the billing link on your receipt. Your website stays online through the end of the month you have paid for, then goes offline.
- We do not refund a month that has already started. If we got something wrong, tell us and we will make it right.
- If a payment fails, we let you know and try again. If it keeps failing, the website goes offline until it is paid.
What is included
- Hosting and your webfriend.co address.
- Changes to your hours, prices, wording and photos when you ask. We do them as soon as we can.
- Help by text or email.
Bigger things, like a new page, a logo, your own domain name or a new look, are quoted as a flat price before any work starts. Never hourly, never a surprise.
Your content and ours
The facts, reviews and photos on your website come from your public Google listing. Your business's name, photos and information stay yours. Tell us if anything on the website is wrong or should not be there, and we fix or remove it. The design, the code and the Web Friend name stay ours. While you are a customer, your website is yours to use and share however you like.
We may remove anything that is illegal, that you do not have the right to use, or that would hurt someone.
Texts and emails
When you enter your mobile number on your new website and tap Send me the link, you agree to receive text messages from Web Friend about your website: the link to it, a reminder before your free week ends, a notice when it has ended, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies, usually a few messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop. Reply HELP for help, or text or call (323) 379-5251. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. We never share your number for marketing. See our privacy page.
Emails about your website come from hello@webfriend.co. Reply STOP, or write to us, and they stop.
Taking a website offline
We can take a website offline when the free week is over and it has not been paid for, when a payment keeps failing, when the business asks us to, or when it breaks these terms or the law.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep your website online and correct, and we fix problems quickly when you tell us. But websites, hosting and the internet sometimes fail, and we cannot promise the website will never be down or never have a mistake. Web Friend is provided as it is. If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is the amount you paid us in the three months before it happened. We are not responsible for lost business or other indirect losses.
Other things
- These terms are governed by the laws of California. Any dispute is handled in Los Angeles County, California.
- If one line of these terms turns out not to hold, the rest still do.
- If these terms change, the new version goes here with a new date at the top. If a change matters, we email you first.
